Exchange Server 2010 Unified Messaging goes beyond email messaging and today’s standalone voicemail systems to deliver a unified inbox experience that includes email messages, voicemail, and faxing functionality, as well as new capabilities such as speech-based auto attendant, which allows users to access their communications from any phone.


Lync Client

Lync client is an integrated communications client for Lync 2010 server that provides presence information, and enables users to click to communicate via IM, PC-to-PC voice and video, email or web conferencing. Integration with Exchange and Live Meeting enables users to schedule meetings right from Office Communicator. Integration with enterprise or public telephony infrastructures to provide features such as control of enterprise telephone systems and integration with audio conferencing call providers.
